Christmas

Obviously, we had the best Christmas present we could have asked for with the birth of Connor, but we did enjoy a great Christmas with our family as well.  Unfortunatley, Cameron had to work late on Christmas Eve, so we had to go to church without him, but he was with us in our hearts.  So we joined the Crawford crew at church, and I think the pew behind us was astonished by the number of kids that kept piling into our pew.  My brother and sister in laws each  have two kids, then I strolled in with a brand new baby, and we spent an hour climbing all over each other.  It was quite a site, but we were happy to all be there together.  Then we were able to wake up in our own home with just the three of us and it was such a treat.  We opened Connor's presents for him, but we are sure he enjoyed them.  And Cameron got quite the treat in that he got to feed Connor for the first time.  We gave him his first bottle that morning and he took it like a champ.  He doesn't seem to complain where the food comes from, as long as it is coming.  Then we spent Christmas Day at Grandma and Papaw's enjoying lots of food, fun, and gifts.  Thanks Grandma and Papaw for a great Christmas!

So fun to have a Connor stocking!

The Faces of Connor

Well I am not as good at this blog thing as I had intentions of being, but I promise I am working on it.  Connor is now 8 weeks old and it has been an amazing 8 weeks.  He is such a good boy and we are enjoying each and every second with him.  He truly is such a blessing, I still to this day cry sometimes just looking at him.  He is a happy baby and is really starting to smile and coo these days.  It is amazing how fast they grow and this boy is just sprouting.  He is going to be a very tall boy, so daddy already has him working on palming a basketball.  Until then though, we are just enjoying the many faces, sleeping and awake, of our little boy.
