While we were in Atlanta, Jonathan and Krista's friend Stacey took some great photos of Connor.  They were his one year photos (at 14 months...shhhh) and he was adorable!!!  Thank you Stacey for your wonderful work!  We love having memories that will last a lifetime!

Our Trip to Atlanta

This past week (okay this was written a month or so, but not completed until now), Cameron and I took off a few days so that we could head down to Atlanta to spend some great time with family and meet the newest addition to our family.  Brinson Carver was born on December 28th to proud parents Kristen and Matt and he is a wonderful baby.  It was so much fun seeing a little one and remembering that Connor was once that size, which is so hard to believe.  He seems as though he is a great baby and Kiki and Matt have taken to being parents wonderfully!  And as always it was great to see all the other nieces and nephews as well.  We left there giving Jonathan and Krista all the credit in the world as they are amazing parents to 4 wonderful children!  Connor loved playing with Payton, Claire, Harrison, and Ivy...but especially Harrison.  Between Harrison, Brinson, and Connor, they are going to be best buds here in a few years!  Its fun to add all the boys to mix...but I personally loved my time with those girls too.  Our favorite part of the trip (other than meeting Mr. Brinson) was one night in Jonathan and Krista's room where we all rolled around and wrestled and played and laughed for hours!  It was so fun, it was what family is all about!  Thank you for having us Atlanta crew...can't wait for the next adventure!  We love you all!
Payton and Brinson...she's getting so big and he is so little!

Connor says Ivy don't go!

Sweet Tayrn and Sydney joined us at the zoo....love all the babies!

Figuring out this walking thing.  Hold on tight Momma!

Uncle Cameron brought the girls a bat and a tee for the future stars!

Sweet, sweet Aunt Krista having so much for with her Ivy!

That face says it all...a successful trip!

My New Chair

Between Christmas and his birthday, Connor got lot of wonderful toys!  Believe it or not, his favorite thing ever is his big boy chair his Grandma and Papaw got for him.  He sits in this thing non stop.  It is the perfect size for him and he is just so proud of it.  When he is done sitting on it, he climbs all over it, he just thinks it is the best!  We put it in between our two big chairs that we sit in so I think he feels like he is now part of the crew, it is so cute!
Chillin with puppy in my new chair!
Sooo proud (you can really see the mullet action in this photo, good thing we got that taken care of)!
Thanks Grandma and Papaw!

First Haircut

After weeks and almost months of everyone telling us our little man needed a haircut, we finally broke down and did it.  Connor really was starting to have a "party in the back!"  He was great about it though and looks so cute.  I think it was harder on mommy than anybody!  They cut away my baby and left me with a little boy!
Mommy, get me out of here!  What is she doing to me?
Sorry, pics are backwards, but this is the after.
And here's the before, you can see the party in the back (and really the front to) we were referring to!
Don't touch my ears lady!

Our Little Helper

Since Christmas has passed, we have spent lots of time cleaning up the house and getting back to normal.  Connor has been our biggest little helper.  At first he wasn't so happy about us taking down the Christmas decorations.  I think he had really started to figure out this holiday thing and wanted to know when the next time he got gifts was.  Wow, was he spoiled in December.  Decembers from here on out are going to be crazy.  Here are a few photos from after the holidays.
Mommy, don't put Santa away, he brings such great toys!
I told you not to put him away, I will get him right back out....he's the boss!
Who would have thought cleaning the toilet was so much fun!
Probably not the cleanest activity, but he LOVED it.
Then there is the dishwasher, his other favorite hang out.  What a good little helper we have!
